Anna Maria Island Redfish Fishing Charter Report

We are into the third week of the same weather pattern, west winds and rain! Even though the weather has not been cooperating as much as we would like, we are still getting in trips on most days.

The Trout bite remains the fish to go after, as the bite is the most consistent and productive. The only challenge is  sometimes getting into the open water, due to high winds, where they have been on deeper grass flats near the edges of moving water.

While fishing for Trout we are still picking up Mangrove Snapper mixed in with theTrout and hanging in the same areas. The Snook bite has conditioned to be tough as this lower pressure sits on top of us. We are picking up a few Snook here and there but not as many as we should this time of the year.

Anna Maria Island Redfish Fishing stays strong despite the weather

The Redfish bite has picked near the mouth of the bays and rivers, as all of the water from the rain we are getting pour out of the back estuaries. This next week final looks like we will seen a more stable summer time weather pattern.
