Bradenton Snook Fishing Charters Report

Steady Conditions make for great Bradenton Snook Fishing.

This week has been just that, steady. We are between moon cycles and saw moderate tidal movement in combination with most fishing trips this week falling on the outgoing tide which has made fishing slow and steady.

We managed to catch plenty of fish this week, just at times we had to wait for the fish to turn on. The bite has been stronger on the incoming tide and the first part of the outgoing. The fish this week seemed to totally shut down near the bottom end of the outgoing tide.

Bait is plentiful out around the beach of Anna Maria Island and near the northern piers of the island. The Snook, Trout, and Mackerel bite has been the best this week. Most of the Snook we are catching are around the 25″ mark near the edges of creeks and outflows of flats around Terra Ceia and around the mouth of the Manatee River.

The Trout and  Mackerel have been hanging on the edges of deeper grass. They are also near the main channels around Palma Sola Bay and the Cortez bridge. We are also picking up a handful of Snapper while we are Trout and Mackerel fishing.

The Redfish bite has been tough this week and we only managed to catch a handful this week. Next week as we will have better tides. The higher water will be in the mornings which should pick up the Redfish bite.
