Anna Maria Island – As summer fades and mild fall weather comes to the island, so do the areas Farmers Markets. Find four different markets to choose from with two on island, one in downtown Bradenton, and a fourth in downtown Sarasota.

Anna Maria Island Markets

The Coquina Beach Market begins November 1st and runs through July. Open 10am-4pm this market happens every Sunday except Easter. Located on the southern most beach of Anna Maria Island this cute beach side market emphasizes arts, crafts, jewelry and gifts by local vendors. Enjoy strolling the market under shady Australian Pines on the sandy beaches of the Gulf of Mexico. Plenty of parking is available at the Coquina Beach access; however, the Anna Maria Island free trolley stops just out side of Coquina Cafe and the Market. A Bradenton Beach tradition, the Bridge Street Market begins November 15th and runs through April. Open from 10am-3pm this market goes on every Sunday. Typically smaller in size, the Bridge Street Market offers fresh local produce, live music, arts, crafts and tasty goodies. After the market explore all the fun shops, boutiques and restaurants on Bridge Street. Stroll down to the end of the street and enjoy a relaxing walk on the newly redone Bridge Street Pier taking in views of north Sarasota Bay. Bradenton Market

The Bradenton Farmers Market located on Old Main Street in downtown Bradenton begins the first week in October and runs through May. Open from 9am-2pm this market happens every Saturday. Put on by non profit organization Realize Bradenton, over the years this medium sized market has turned into a quintessential weekend experience for Bradenton locals. The Bradenton Farmers Market offers tons of fresh local grown produce and plants emphasizing arts, crafts, live music, local chef demonstrations and cottage industry style tasty treats and specialty foods. A great location for this market, Old Main Street offers tons of restaurants and bars, and is with in walking distance of the Bradenton Riverwalk Park. Sarasota Market 

In it’s 37th year running, The Sarasota Farmers Market is open all year long every Saturday from 7am-1pm.
