I can not stress enough to tourists that the best pizza in the local area is Danny’s Pizzeria in Bradenton. Sure, there are some places on the Island that make a good pizza, but Danny’s is THE BEST! It is absolutely worth the 15 minute car ride into town.

Originally established in New York, Danny’s eventually made it’s way here to Bradenton. Which is probably why they make the closest thing to New York style pizza in the local area. I have heard from numerous New Yorker’s that the pizza is the real deal.

While the pizza is popular, they have a full menu including appetizers, Italian dishes, and heroes. I also enjoy their Eggplant Parmesan Hero, the Macaroni Bites, and their Baked Ziti. They even make their own dough and sauces! Trust me, you’re going to want to try this place out!
