Plants, herbs, recipes; oh my! On Tuesday July 16th, Chef Aedan will be hosting a seminar “Edible Plants of Summer”. The event takes place in the gorgeous Robinson Preserve, and then moves to the Chef’s Table to enjoy the delicacies discussed during the short hike through the preserve. This event requires reservations and is suitable for guests ages 13 and older.
Alternatively, on Wednesday July 17th, the Island Branch Library will be hosting a “Cooking With Herbs” demonstration. This informative class is free and open to all ages. This event is presented by the Manatee County Agriculture & Extension Service: Family and Consumer Sciences Division.
