Leffis Key Preserve


Leffis Key Preserve in Bradenton Beach is Anna Maria Islands only nature preserve. While this preserve is on the smaller scale, it is still a great and beautiful place to visit. 

Small Preserve on The Island

Leffis Key preserve is open from 8am to sunset. The preserve is made up of footpaths, 1,500ft of boardwalks that run through the mangrove forest, and a 26-foot high hill that provides 360-degree views of the Gulf of Mexico and Sarasota Bay.
Along with hiking the trails and boardwalks, Leffis Key Preserve also offers great wildlife viewing, and fishing. 

NOTE: DOGS ARE NOT PERMITTED AT THIS PRESERVE. If you do have your four-legged friend with you and want to bring them along for an adventure, then check out Robinson Preserve in Bradenton. There are tons of hiking trails here, and its pet friendly. 

Leffis Key Preserve 

Leffis Key Preserve is located in Bradenton Beach on Anna Maria Island. It is across the road from the Coquina Beach entrance.
