On the shores of Sarasota Bay is a beautiful garden that will make you feel like you’ve entered a different world. Marie Selby Botanical Gardens is a beautiful place to visit while you’re in the area.

You Wont Want to Miss out Seeing This Breathtaking Place 

15 acres of lush, unique tropical plants truly makes this place a sight to see. This land once was the home to William and Marie Selby (hence the name). Today,the gardens are double the original size with 12 buildings, and  more than 200,000 visitors each year!

Selby Gardens is a place where guests can relax, and learn about the beautiful plants that surround them. Some of the most popular features including; Ann Goldstein Children’s Rainforest Garden, Towering Bamboo Garden, Banyan Groves, Mangrove Bay Walk , and more!

The Marie Selby Botanical Gardens is not only a great place to visit, it also makes a stunning wedding venue. They also put on some spectacular events throughout the year. There’s Wedneday Yoga in the Gardens, the Lights in Bloom event, Easter Brunch, Dali Nights, etc.

The gardens are open everyday of the year EXCEPT for Christmas day.
