The City you purchase your Anna Maria Island Vacation Rental will make a large effect on your happiness with your real property purchase. Each City has significant differences and below is a summary of those differences.

Anna Maria City

Anna Maria City is made up of 95% single family homes and is the most Northern City on Anna Maria Island. North of Pine avenue is very quiet and typically property in Anna Maria City costs 5 % more than Holmes Beach. Most areas of Anna Maria City can be rented nightly and occupancy is limited to 2 per bedroom plus 2 up to 8 when it moves to 2 per bedroom.

Holmes Beach City

Holmes Beach is the largest are of Anna Maria Island with the most real properties and therefore Vacation Rentals. It is made up of approximately 75% single family homes and 25% condominiums. Holmes Beach has many canals which offers lots of boating opportunities. Holmes Beach has nightly, weekly and monthly rental minimums. Occupancy is limited to 6 or 2 per bedroom whichever is more.

Bradenton Beach

Bradenton Beach is the narrowest area of the island which allows beach to bay living. It is the most walkable area of Anna Maria Island with shops and restaurants a walk away. There are approximately 80% condos and 20% single family homes. Bradenton Beach allows nightly rentals with occupancy limits based on heads in beds. Generally speaking Bradenton Beach real property prices are approximately 5% less than Holmes Beach.
