Big Cat Habitat is a large-animal rescue in Sarasota, Florida.

Big Cat Habitat

Founded in 1987, this animal rescue & sanctuary has become a temporary and permanent home for dozens of exotic animals. Animals you can expect to encounter include bears, primates, birds, tortoises, and of course some big cats like lions and ligers! They even have some smaller furry friends you can interact with in the petting zoo area, like goats and chickens. Big Cat Habitat continues to expand and develop further to provide the best for the animals in their care. Tickets for adults are $18.00, Children ages 3 – 12 are $8.00, and for children 2 and under admission is free.
