Lots of things to do for all ages on Anna Maria Island. Playgrounds are plentiful off Anna Maria Island for younger children and a few can be found on the Island. Holmes Beach skate park is a great spot for all ages of children. The skate park is equipped with a long pathway connecting a half pipe and a skate bowl. If sun and sand is in the agenda then a boogie board or surf board is a good bet for hours of fun. Don't forget about the best beach activity of all, building sandcastles! Sandcastles not fast enough for the teenagers in your life? Swing over to the Manatee public beach where a few sand volley ball courts can be found and is a great place to pick up something to eat. Return to the public beach in the morning and grab their all you can eat pancake breakfast. Another phenomenal spot for all ages is Riverwalk in Bradenton. There is a path that connects a huge skate park to a playground with a water fountain park adjacent to the playground for smaller children. A favorite for families and the view is spectacular from all areas of the park since it is on the Bradenton River.
