Wildlife Education and Rehabilitation Center Inc.

Wildlife Education and Rehabilitation Center Inc. is a wildlife rescue and rehabilitation center in Bradenton Beach. It is currently the largest rehabilitation and rescue center for wildlife in Manatee County.

Wildlife Inc.

Founded in 1987, the Center has treated thousands of birds, mammals, and reptiles in the years since. It is a non-profit organization, and completely volunteer run. This means donations are extremely important for them to continue their work. They also have a wildlife sanctuary at Mixon Fruit Farms in East Bradenton. Unfortunately, the animals at the sanctuary  cannot live in the wild again. They are either permanently injured, or too domesticated to be released. For this reason, these animals are showcased on the educational tours at Mixon Fruit Farms at 2525 27th Street East Bradenton, FL. Daily tours are at 11am, 1pm, 3pm. Summer tours 11am, 1pm.
