Anna Maria Island’s noise ordinance aims to ensure citizens can enjoy a peaceful environment. The ordinance applies to all areas of the city, including public and private property, and places of business. It defines noise as any sound that annoys or disturbs a reasonable person of ordinary sensibilities or causes or tends to cause an adverse physical or psychological effect on such reasonable person. The noise ordinance limits the maximum permissible noise levels to:
7 AM–10 PM: 65 decibels: (Consistently shouting in the pool exceeds 65 decibels)
10 PM–7 AM: 50 decibels: (An audible conversation from 50’ or 15 meters away exceeds 50 decibels). The ordinance also prohibits plainly audible noise, which refers to any sound that can be clearly heard by a person using their normal hearing faculties. This means that a person can still be in violation if the noise can be easily heard by responding officers from a distance of 100 feet from the property line. Fines for excessive noise can range from $100 to $1,000.

Location is Marvelous

Ideal Condo
Ideal condo for a family trip on the crowded island during Spring Break. After driving past many families lugging beach gear across busy streets, the ability to be steps away from essentially a private beach was incredible. The condo itself was a bit well loved, but had everything we needed for our short time spent indoors. Items such as cutting boards and baking sheets could use a refresh. Very Clean and Great Location
This condo was perfect for our family of 6. The location is wonderful!! The unit was very clean, and it was so nice to have a back door to the condo balcony that led to the beach. Bedrooms are a nice size. The kitchen and appliances are dated however it had everything we needed. The only negative thing was that it would have been nice for the unit to have beach items, however I was told you can rent a beach chair/umbrella at Beach Bums on the island for very little cost. Loved the Location
We absolutely loved the location of this condo! Its proximity to the beach and ocean was amazing and its location on the island was ideal. The View is Everything
Right on the water. A very peaceful (not too populated) stretch of beach right outside your door. The condo is nice too. Loved this Place
We loved this place so much! It had everything we could ask for! Previous guests even left a blow dryer and beach chairs! We left some sant toys. One thing I will say is in the master bedroom the slider is broken and doesn’t open but it didn’t impact our stay at all. Wonderful Location
This condo is in a wonderful location, it is very clean, quiet and comfortable! We loved the large lanai overlooking the beach! Condo is truly beachfront, and the beach was never crowded, which was wonderful. Arrival and departure were seamless. There were a few things I would like to mention about the rental. There is no elevator, so everything must be carried up the stairs to the condo, which technically is 3 flights up. Not a deal breaker, but inconvenient when carrying luggage and groceries in and out. I had also never stayed in a condo that didn’t have basic spices in the kitchen. Again, not a deal breaker, just know if you’re planning to cook you might want to bring salt/pepper etc. This very well could be Covid related but having the basics would have been nice.
