Anna Maria Island’s noise ordinance aims to ensure citizens can enjoy a peaceful environment. The ordinance applies to all areas of the city, including public and private property, and places of business. It defines noise as any sound that annoys or disturbs a reasonable person of ordinary sensibilities or causes or tends to cause an adverse physical or psychological effect on such reasonable person. The noise ordinance limits the maximum permissible noise levels to:
7 AM–10 PM: 65 decibels: (Consistently shouting in the pool exceeds 65 decibels)
10 PM–7 AM: 50 decibels: (An audible conversation from 50’ or 15 meters away exceeds 50 decibels)
The ordinance also prohibits plainly audible noise, which refers to any sound that can be clearly heard by a person using their normal hearing faculties. This means that a person can still be in violation if the noise can be easily heard by responding officers from a distance of 100 feet from the property line. Fines for excessive noise can range from $100 to $1,000.
Please be sure to obey all traffic laws and be sure you park in a permitted area if parking on the streets. If you park in a non-parking zone or against traffic, you will be ticketed

The condo was very clean. The beds and the couch were super comfortable. The kitchen is stocked with just the basics, no extras there. It was an easy walk to a beautiful beach. We appreciated the chairs, umbrellas, and especially the beach wagon that was supplied. It was convenient to be that close to Publix, and the view over the mangroves looking at the intercostal waterway was amazing. We have stayed at various locations over the years, but this one certainly ranks near the top. The unit was super clean and and had so many extra amenities. We loved the location of the condo and access to the swimming pool. There was plenty of covered parking. The beds were really comfortable and the place was spacious and very nicely appointed. The washer and dryer got lots of use. We used the beach cart, umbrella and cooler. The kids liked it so much they wanted us to live there. It wasn’t on the beach or even across from the beach but the island is so small that we visited lots of the beaches and none were more than a few minutes away. *Disclosure: review provided 3/26/22*

This 2 bed/2 bath was perfect for our family of 4. The extra bedroom fit my teenage daughters perfectly. Having a TV in their bedroom was a plus. The open concept was great for being together and family time. We are from snowy Illinois and we were thrilled to be on Anna Maria for 3 weeks in January! We enjoyed the location of this condo. Close to the beach and right next to a Publix, Walgreens, bike rental, ice cream, sandwich and coffee shops. We rented bikes and enjoyed biking everywhere. We played tennis and pickle ball on the public tennis courts. There is a bike lane and it's easy to get around AMI. Stores, shops and beaches all have bike racks for locking up safely. This is a second story unit and we felt very safe in this location. I sure will miss sitting on that porch and having my morning coffee! Beautiful place to watch the sunrise. We loved staying at the condo. It had everything we needed including plenty of towels and beach towels. Kitchen was fully equipped. We were grateful for the starter supply of toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, laundry soap, dishwashing detergent (which we didn't use). We loved having a washer and dryer so I could do laundry everyday. We were able to walk and bike (rented) right across the street to Publix, Walgreens, shopping, ice cream and restaurants. Even though it was a pet friendly condo, we couldn't tell at all that there had pets in the unit. There was a pool, but we never used it.
