Anna Maria Island Historical Society Museum

While the island is small the history is extremely interesting. From uninhabited jungle to tourist attraction a lot has changed over the years on Anna Maria Island. When you visit the Historical Museum you’ll find out everything that has formed this community to its current state.

This Museum isn’t large, so this is a great attraction to take up just an hour or two. You’ll tour the Museum building with local artifacts and information. Then be sure to visit the Belle Haven house and the Old Anna Maria City Jail. It’s not a trip to Anna Maria Island if you don’t get picture of yourself in the jail!
