The Island Skate Park

There has been a small skate park in Holmes Beach for years and years, however in 2019 the park finally got a much needed upgrade. Now the Holmes Beach Micro Skate Park is worth going to! Since opening earlier this year (2020) it has been a hit with visitors as well as locals.

The New and Improved Skate Park

This skate park is open from 10AM to sunset, Monday - Sunday. Whether you're a beginner or not, this is a great park to skate at for all levels (though it is geared more towards kids/beginners). If you consider yourself more of a pro, or want a bigger park to skate at, than head over to Bradenton Riverwalk Skateboard Park in Downtown Bradenton.

At the Micro Skate Park there are some ramps, grind bars, etc. Nothing too crazy,

Rollerblade and skateboards are allowed, though this is a small park, and bikes are prohibited. Luckily you have the whole entire Island to bike around.

There isn't a place to rent gear/boards at, so make sure you pack your equipment in the suitcase. If anything, you can always head over to West Coast Surf Shop to shop their selection of skateboards and penny boards.
