About Bayfront Park Beach

Bayfront Park is located on the northern tip of Anna Maria Island, and is the largest park on the entire island. Offering plenty of things to do, and beautiful views of Tampa Bay, Bayfront Park is another of AMI’s busiest beaches! Bayfront Park offers free parking, but be sure to get there early if you want to be sure to find a spot. The entrance to the park is located at 315 N. Bay Blvd.

Bayfront Park’s ample amenities make it a great choice for families, who will enjoy the various pavilions, barbeques, restrooms, water fountains, showers, and waste disposal. Kayak and paddle board rentals are available here as well, and can be launched directly into the park’s clear, blue water. While the surf is pretty calm here, you may even be able to catch a small wave or two!

Bayfront Park is also a well known fishing spot on Anna Maria Island, and is a great choice for anglers of all skill levels! Once you’re done fishing, swimming, paddling, and playing for the day, take a short stroll down to the rod and reel pier for a bite to eat. There are several other restaurants located close to Bayfront Park, including Two Scoops Ice Cream and the AMI City Pier to the south.
