Anna Maria Island Night Life

Anna Maria Island does have a night life but just about everything shuts down around 10-11 PM. If you are looking for a stronger nightlife then you should visit our day trip information page and hop over to Ybor City, Sarasota, Siesta Key or Tampa and make a full day out of your trip off Anna Maria. If you want a little closer to home Bradenton Main Street has some nightlife and they often have activities like music that gets the area hopping. We have some karaoke bars locally if that strikes your fancy but heading up to Tampa to take in a baseball or hockey game is always a great precursor to a night out on the town. If you cannot peel yourself away from the beach then try out a drum circle on the beach as in our high season there are typically drum circles each night the weekend. Don't forget about downtown Sarasota at Marina Jacks which has some phenomenal water views with plenty of dancing. We do have a micro-brewery in Bradenton called Motorworks, just 20 minutes from the island with a phenomenal outdoor area to enjoy the Florida night under the stars.
