The Lazy Lobster on Longboat Key has been serving phenomenal seafood at an affordable price since being founded in 2009. Originally, the restaurant was started in Sarasota back in 2007, where it continues to thrive. However, in 2009 the partners reunited to open The Lazy Lobster on Longboat Key, where it almost instantly became a huge hit.

The atmosphere here is very relaxed/casual, and the staff is always friendly. Due to this blog being written in the Summer (August 2019), the restaurant is open for their “Summer Hours”. Currently, they are open daily from 4PM to 9PM. Making The Lazy Lobster a great place for dinner. Speaking of dinner, the food they serve is fantastic! And the menu has plenty of options for everyone.
It is no surprise that this restaurant serves lobster. And they serve it in a variety of different ways including; Lobster Tacos, Lobster Thermidor, Maine Lobster Roll, etc. While lobster is a popular choice here, they have so much more! Other seafood options they feature include; Crab Cake Alfredo, Grouper Capri, Stuffed Shrimp Norma, Swordfish Delaney, and much more.
Don’t like seafood? Don’t worry! The Lazy Lobster also offers dishes such as; Jack’s Lighthouse Burger, Filet Mignon, and Catherine’s Vegetarian Pasta.
There is are so many delicious choices here! It’s difficult deciding on what to order!
