Wonderful Home with Enormous Outdoor Areas
I have stayed at several homes on Anna Maria Island, as it’s one of the most beautiful islands in Florida, and this home has the best backyard!! The backyard is completely secluded and so sunny! The pool was a great size for playing with kids and lounging on floaties. The putting green was so much fun to use. We rented bikes and the central location of this house made any destination a 10 minute bike ride max. There are so many tasty restaurants and ice cream places within biking distance. I think we got lucky but the house had beach chairs and a wagon which made it easy to cart our stuff to the beach. Our family had such a memorable time here. Fun! Fun! Fun!
We came for a week and wished it was for a month! The private, stunning backyard has everything! Fabulous pool (with a little swim up bar area), hot tub, ping pong, putting green with an area for yoga. And the beach was a block away, but they furnish a wagon and beach chairs. Rented a golf cart to zip around to restaurants and shopping - so fun! Found some great breakfast places. This place is immaculate and VERY well maintained. Dreaming about when we’ll be back!!! Went Back Again!
Had such a fun time having a girls’ week at My Bug Fat Beach House that we went back again this year! Nice upgrades since we were last there—cool addition of a putting green (some also used it for yoga/meditation), many of the interior rooms were freshened up with new paint, and it is very well equipped. Great place for the family, private backyard!
I stayed here with my family and it was amazing. The location is perfect, we walked to the beach with the beach wagon (it was provided!) everyday and there were new beach chairs in the garage. We also rented a golf cart to get around the island. The kids loved the putting green and the pool was great in the afternoon shade. The backyard is also very private! The kitchen was stocked and had everything we needed. We grilled most nights as it was hard to get in to restaurants on the island with a large group. Q: Good morning! We are staying there in May and have a few questions to help us plan ahead. Are fresh linens for beds provided? Are towels, hand towels, washcloths provided? beach towels? Is there a Keurig or an actual coffee maker (cup size?)? Is there a crock pot? Any recommendations on must bring items? Thank you in advance for your time. We are looking forward to staying with you. Jess Hartman- Jessica H. Posted: 03/04/2022A:Hi Jessica, Yes we provide all towels, washcloths, Clean Linens, beach towels, and this property has a regular 12 cup drip coffee maker. We can not guarantee a crop pot as it is not a required kitchen item, however we would provide all the standard cookware such as skillet set, Sauce pans, Dutch ovens with lids, Plates, Bowls Stock Pot, etc.
Unfortunately, Island Real Estate Vacations cannot guarantee there will be any beach chairs, umbrellas or toys at your vacation rental property. However, if upon arrival you find there are chairs, etc. then you are welcome to enjoy them. Some guests leave items behind and some owners will purchase an inventory of fun beach equipment a few times a year.
Too often these items get left behind on the beach, broken, etc. so there really is no way for us to know what is there from week to week. We suggest you check in, take a look around the property to see what is there that you would like to use and then if you feel you want something extra pick it up at a local shop or rent just about anything from Fun and More or Beach Bum’s (info below).
